I churros they are gods fried desserts they are eaten at breakfast in the Spanish gastronomic tradition. They are cooked at home or you go to some bar where they are served with hot chocolate in which they are dipped or they are sold from kiosks, covered in sugar or chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 800 g of flour
  • baking powder to taste
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 eggs
  • sale q.b.
  • sugar q.b.

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, pour thewater and a generous pinch of salt and turn on the heat.
  2. In the meantime, sift through the farina and the yeast and pour them into the water as soon as it starts to boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Leave on the heat until the pasta begins to detach from the sides of the saucepan.

  4. Then join them egg shell them one at a time and continue mixing until they are well blended into the pasta.

  5. Once the mixture is ready, place it in a pastry bag with a star nozzle.
  6. Heat plenty of oil for frying and drop the pasta into it, making it come out of the pocket.

  7. Fry i churros until they are evenly golden.
  8. Drain them with a golden ladle and let the excess grease dry on absorbent paper.

  9. Sprinkle them with sugar and serve them with a cup of hot chocolate.

  10. If you like, you can also serve them with whipped cream.
